Bill’s Favorite Hole: No. 12. This 460-yard Par 5 can be reached in two by long hitters. The fairway is very narrow with trees on both sides. The green doglegs off to the right. You must either lay-up short of the deep gully and bunkers guarding the green or try to carry it.

While 12 is a fun hole, I think the par 5 ninth is fun and the par 4 18th is terrific.
Very tight tee shot to a very sloped landing area. Go too far left or right and you’re in the sticks. The hole then makes a sharp right where it opens up a bit. Nice sized undulated green with thick rough and the pond n fountain to the left. Two very good shots could get you on in two. It’s the type of hole where birdie and triple bogey are equally achievable. Not to mention a pretty hole.
For the 18th, the pond from 9 will now be on your right when you get to the green, but first you have to hit off an elevated tee to a dogleg right fairway. Long hitter? Well too far and too straight will put you too far into the trees. Too far left will have you in the brush as well….. too far right will put you in a creek which leads to the pond. Once you get to the green, you better have your A game, cuz you may have a gallery watching down on you from South Shore’s catering room on the second floor. Nothing like sinking a 20 foot birdie putt and getting a golf clap to finish up a round.
