The only drawback is that the course is prety busy during the summer. Besides that, the area has a lot of patrking and its for a small fee, not too bad. Does any one else remember this? I always land in the sand trap. I've been playing it since I was a little kid (I'm 50 now). Taught several friends (and one ex-boyfriend) to play, and will soon be teaching my husband to play on that course. It's just the right length for a round - takes about 3 hours to play - and leaves the rest of the day for fun. I love that golf course. I’ve been playing it since I was a little kid (I’m 50 now). The holes are from 60-150 yards. With practice here and work at a driving range (Gateway Range is just down Flatbush avenue across from Floyd Bennett Field), you can put together a full golf game and improve. I've been playing here with my friends and father since I was a young boy. I'm now 33 and still go back here to work on the pitching wedge shots... They've recently been taken over by new management and there are improvements, including now being open at night with lights. Very cool. They have now changed the back nine and front nine. My favorite hole is the 12 (formerly the 3). I've been there about 6 times in my life, and that is how many times I've golfed.
