Good Winter Drill - The Pivot Drill

Perform as Often and Precise as Possible. Constant Motion. Do Not Strain or Push Muscles. Practice Tempo as you do These Drills.

Set Up: Set up of the golf swing
  • Feet as Wide as Your Shoulders
  • Knees Slightly Bent
  • Back Straight and Bent Forward From the Hips
  • Head High
  • Arms Across Chest
  • Back Foot Straight
  • Front Foot ΒΌ Turn Toward Target
Back Swing: Golf back swing
  • Pull Back Shoulder Back and Up
  • Watch Back Knee To Insure It Stays Completely Still
  • Weight Moves To Back Heel
Impact: Golf swing at impact  
Finish: Golf stance at finish
  • Back Hip Moves Toward Ball
  • Weight Moves To Front Heel
  • Front Knee Straightens
  • Back Heel Comes Off The Ground
