Looking forward to another fun season. Hopefully I can qualify for the Ryder Cup playoff matches because I am a match play monster. In fact last week I beat Henrik Stenson 10-8 and Eldrick Woods 10-8 in match play. Then the alarm clock went off…..

Richard - the HGT lunches at the clubs around midday, then tee-off starts at 1:30pm, then gathers for drinks with trophy presentation 5:30-6pm - events are on thursdays (sometimes tuesdays) and cost is $250 to become a member and qualify for prizes, post-season playoffs at 3 more clubs, and trip to Scotland to play the Old Course, plus between $145 and $245 for playing each match (this includes green fees, cart/caddie, lunch, drinks, prize pool, some skill prizes, free shirt at 1st match (Suburban). Season starts May 22nd with 12 weekly matches. Then 3 playoff matches in september. Then 4 rounds in Scotland in early October…incl.the Old Course!! This is great midweek golf with 4hr rounds on fabulous condition courses centered around northern jersey.
