The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, Manhattan’s only multi-tiered, year-round outdoor driving range, offers golfers the unique ability to hit full shots, practice putting and take lessons from top golf professionals. Located on a scenic Hudson River pier, this four-tiered “super-range” features 52 heated and weather-protected hitting stalls, an automatic ball tee-up system and a 200-yard, net-enclosed artificial turf fairway.
The Golf Club is also home to the Golf Academy, NYC’s most high-tech indoor golf training facility. The Academy offers entry-level to low-handicap golfers the opportunity to learn, practice and improve their game under the tutelage of LPGA & PGA certified teaching professionals. Learn to Play, Golf 101, schools, golf leagues, private lessons and special programs for junior golfers are available. It also features indoor video analysis stations, a practice sand bunker and a chipping/putting green. Located on the top floor, the PLAYERS Room provides golfers with the opportunity to play a round of simulated golf on 56 of the best courses in the world.
Membership programs are available for frequent golfers. Golf Club members receive access to luxury private locker rooms, advance stall reservations with guest privileges, year-round discounts and bag storage.
Corporate outings, meetings, private parties and more can be accommodated at the Golf Club. Two dedicated event spaces, full-service catering and experienced event planners make the Golf Club an ideal setting for year-round entertaining.
How To Get There: Car - For customers wishing to park on-site or be dropped off at any of the piers, the entrance to Chelsea Piers is accessed off the West Side Highway (traveling South), opposite 23rd Street. DO NOT enter at 24th Street.
For all drop-offs at the front entrance, cars may enter at 24th Street into the turn-around circle. Any cars entering at 24th Street CANNOT access Chelsea Piers parking and will need to exit back onto the West Side Highway, turn right to head South and follow directions for the entrance off highway.
From Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island: Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge: Follow FDR Drive North to East 23rd Street exit. Follow 23rd Street west to the Hudson River. Make a right turn on to 11th Ave. and then make a left onto 24th St. At the light, make a left onto West Side Highway and turn right at the next traffic light into the entrance of Chelsea Piers.
Brooklyn Battery Tunnel: Follow signs to West Street (West Side Highway). Continue north to the 21st St. exit, bear right onto 11th Ave, then make a left onto 24th St. At the light, make a left onto West Side Highway and turn right at the next traffic light into the entrance of Chelsea Piers.
From Long Island and Queens: Queens Midtown Tunnel, 59th Street Bridge (Queensboro Bridge): Continue South to 23rd Street. At 23rd Street, turn right and follow 23rd Street West to The Hudson River. Make a right turn on to 11th Ave. and then make a left onto 24th St. At the light, make a left onto West Side Highway and turn right at the next traffic light into the entrance of Chelsea Piers.
From Upstate NY, Connecticut and Bronx: Henry Hudson Parkway (West Side Highway): Follow South to West 23rd Street. At West 23rd Street, turn right at the traffic light in the Complex.
FDR Drive: South to East 23rd Street Exit. Follow 23rd Street West to The Hudson River. Make a right turn on to 11th Ave. and then make a left onto 24th St. At the light, make a left onto West Side Highway and turn right at the next traffic light into the entrance of Chelsea Piers.
From New Jersey: Lincoln Tunnel and George Washington Bridge: Follow signs for West Side Highway (Henry Hudson Parkway) South to West 23rd Street. At West 23rd Street, turn right at the traffic light into the complex.
Holland Tunnel: Follow signs for West Street (West Side Highway) North to West 23rd Street. After the 21st St. exit, bear right onto 11th Ave, then make a left onto 24th St. At the light, make a left onto West Side Highway and turn right at the next traffic light into the complex.
Parking: Cars enter Chelsea Piers from the West Side Highway at approximately 23rd Street. There is a "Chelsea Piers Only" access road exiting from the southbound lane of the highway. Traffic is one-way only along our East Roadway, with three (3) staggered parking booths at both the entrance and exit to the Complex. Expect to pay $10 to park your car for an hour. $13 for two hours.
Other Transportation: Mass Transit - The M23 bus crosses Manhattan on West 23rd Street and stops directly in front of the northern entrance to Chelsea Piers. The M14 bus crosses Manhattan on 14th Street and stops at 18th Street in front of the southern entrance to Chelsea Piers. The M23 and M14 buses connect with all of Manhattan's north-south bus routes and subway lines.
N, R - Fifth Avenue, F, PATH - Sixth Avenue, 1, 9 - Seventh Avenue, C, E - Eighth Avenue. There is a bus pull-off along the west side of the highway at approximately 23rd Street dedicated solely to the M23.
Pedestrian Access: Traffic lights and crosswalks guide pedestrians, skaters and cyclists safely across the West Side Highway at 22nd, 20th and 18th Streets. Chelsea Piers is also accessible from the Hudson River Park bikeway/walkway that parallels the Hudson River. Bike racks are located throughout Chelsea Piers.
Bikeway - Walkway: A tree-lined bikeway/walkway, extending from Battery Park to West 57th Street, runs parallel to the Chelsea Piers East Roadway, allowing safe and convenient access from all points. It crosses the Chelsea Piers East Roadway at approximately 17th Street and 22nd Street and proceed North.
Taxis: The turnaround circle is a "Taxi and Chartered Bus" pick-up and drop-off area with a covered taxi stand. Taxis may also drop-off Chelsea Piers guests in the parking lane along the northbound lane of the West Side Highway between 17th & 22nd Streets. Taxis may also enter via the "Chelsea Piers only" access road, to drop-off passengers within the complex.
